UX and UI

As a previous business owner and .com start up guy – my roles over the last few years have been wide and varied. What that really means is I’ve had a hand in all aspects of the digital world, from UI/UX design to the actual programming.

I’ve been a digital designer and business owner since the internet began (almost). As part of a .com Start up in 2000 (homepro.com) we imagined a world where people could choose a recommend builder from a mobile phone. Funded by the carphone warehouse. The .com bubble burst and my business partner and I found ourselves with an opportunity to build a digital design agency – and that is what we did for 18 years.

In 2019 a change of scene was needed and I went client side. My current role as Head of Product Design at B4B has equipped me with a sharp eye for quality based solutions using strict customer research and feedback.

I’m passionate, engaged and enjoy looking to the future. Focusing on the balance of ideas, experience, aesthetics and technology, I simplify how people interact with digital applications. Form and function in perfect harmony.

I use a solid and time proven process on everything I do. Using a holistic approach I look for the best solutions from idea to execution. In addition to my day to day work, I enjoy doing experimental private work. I believe being creative matters and personal development allows me to explore, learn and find new ways to achieve this.
