The Challenge
Elizabeth Gage sets herself apart from other artists and strives to capture the beauty of a bird or animal on canvas. She tries to capture their essence in jewels using carvings that have a life of their own and which continually remind us of the beauty of the animal kingdom.
The challenge was to translate these fantastic jewels into a delightful and engaging online experience and allow customers to feel confident and pleased at buying expensive pieces of jewellery online.
The Solution
I led design and development from initial brief and proposal to final sign-off. Working with the client to define an approach that related to the beauty of the pieces, using Shopify as our base.
UI
The client requested a full brand redesign as an evolution of Elizabeths style while reinforcing the beauty of the jewellerys design. We created prototypes using the development area of shopify and presented them off line, before refining and developing live on a mirror site.
Delivery
Managing the design and tech teams and generating internal and external marketing and creative was delivered.
We also conceptualised, and wrote creative initiatives for the brand. These included advertising and marketing campaigns. We wrote scripts and copy for the site and helped steer the social media campaigns. We also assisted in the development of the branding strategies.
Results
Post delivery we have seen some exciting purchases that are increasing month on month. Including some very high profile buyers.
